Sterling Brown serves as Senior Pastor of Rocky River Friends Meeting, where he began his ministry in September 2026. Before coming to Rocky River, he served as Youth and Children’s Pastor at Cedar Square Friends Meeting, helping young people grow in their faith through Bible teaching, relationships, and service.

Sterling earned his master’s degree in Christian Ministry from Carolina University and was recorded as a minister by Friends Church of North Carolina in August 2022. His preaching walks through Scripture with an emphasis on understanding God’s Word and putting it into practice in everyday life.

Rooted in the Friends tradition, Sterling believes every member has a part in the ministry of the church. He desires to equip people of all ages to follow Jesus, care for one another, and serve their neighbors. He and his wife, Stephany, and soon to be family are grateful to be part of the Rocky River community and look forward to growing in faith alongside the meeting.
